New homes usually come with a 1 year warranty from the builder. We recommend doing a inspection on the 11th month of occupancy before your warranty expires. This is a thorough evaluation of your new home and its major components.

A: The average home inspection takes between 2-3 hours. Older and larger homes can take longer. Putting together the report after the physical inspection takes a fair bit of additional time, but that will be done later, off-site.
